The Benton Park Enrichment Challenge
Learning at Benton Park extends far beyond the classroom. The Benton Park Enrichment Challenge encourages every pupil to take part in a wide range of experiences that help them discover new interests, develop confidence and make a positive contribution to school and the wider community.
The challenge supports our vision: Together we belong, develop character and achieve excellence. Pupils collect stamps by participating in activities across five areas:
- Civic engagement, including volunteering, pupil leadership and community involvement
- Arts and culture, including performances, reading and cultural visits
- Nature and adventure, including outdoor activities, trips and residential experiences
- Sport, including representing the school, leadership and participation
- Life skills, including first aid, workshops and work-related learning
Pupils are encouraged to try something new, take an active role in school life and reflect on what they have learnt. As they complete 10, 15 and 20 challenges, they receive recognition for their commitment, progress and achievement.
Whether performing on stage, supporting a school event, representing Benton Park in sport, volunteering or developing an important life skill, every experience contributes to a pupil’s personal development. The challenge is not simply about collecting stamps. It is about developing the character, resilience and responsibility needed to succeed at school and beyond.
