Arbor is our school MIS (management information system). We use Arbor for most things in school. Arbor was launched at Benton Park School in FEB 2025. Between March and September 2025 we are rolling out the parent portal and accompanying app. Sections of the portal will gradually open up until we have all section up and running in September. In September we will use Arbor for the following:
- Viewing attendance
- Reporting a student absence
- Viewing positive and negative behaviour information
- Viewing any detentions that are given
- Viewing school academic reports
- Viewing student timetables
- In-app messaging with school
- Arbor payments – for meals and other school payments
- Trips and clubs
- Examination timetables
- Managing consents and medical information along with amending any changes to contact details.
We will not be launching all of this at once. Initially, only those items in bold above will be accessible. It’s important for all of our parent/carer community has access to the portal and/or the app as, from September, this will be the main vehicle for student information.
