Entry into the Sixth Form
Welcome to Benton Park Sixth Form. Based near Leeds City Centre, we offer a wide range of A-Level and BTEC qualifications for school leavers.
Access to Sixth Form is based on prior academic achievement, behaviour and attendance records. Students must attain at least 5 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above. Some subjects may have specific criteria which will be highlighted on their documentation.
“In the sixth form, students’ attitudes to learning are positive. Students focus well during lessons, and they use their study periods productively. Students are supported well as they transition to the sixth form.” Ofsted 2023
All prospective students are invited to take part in our guidance process, where you will meet with a member of Benton Park staff. This meeting helps you to understand what is involved in each of your potential course options and helps you to ensure that that your course choices will support you in your future career and higher education ambitions.
“Students in the sixth form access a well-run provision. As a result, pupils enjoy learning and make good progress.” Ofsted 2023
