As a Sixth Form we pride ourselves on the opportunities students are able to access. Whether it’s being part of the Guiseley FC link, being a reading mentor, part of the Debating team or simply looking forward to higher education at a Russell Group University.
We have a holistic approach to education and believe that students should have a variety of experience whilst completing their sixth form studies. Our wide reaching enrichment programme incorporates Duke of Edinburgh, Extended Project Qualification, English Speaking Board, Crest Project, First Aid amongst others as qualifications; with sports teams, mentoring, volunteering and a range of charity initiatives for those that want to work on their CV!
We have a range of trips and visits designed to enrich students both academically and personally with Camps International trips, Geography trips to Switzerland, exchange visits and theatre trips to name but a few.
As a Leadership Team we pride ourselves on knowing each and every student and ensuring that throughout we have an open door policy for any issues. We believe that the support that students receive at Benton is what truly sets our Sixth Form provision apart.
