Extracurricular Activities

Extracurricular Activities

Students are given lots of opportunities to be involved in many exciting extracurricular activities.  Whether they choose to compete in the sport of their choice, at the highest possible level, play in the Soul Band or attend 'Geek' club for Science there is a wealth of opportunities for every student.  Our newly refurbished Drama Studio provided an excellent backdrop for students who want to get involved in Performing Arts.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is very successful at Benton Park School.  This has given students the opportunity to develop and broaden a range of skills and be successful at all levels of the excellent award.

Our committed staff support a range of national and international educational visits allowing students the opportunity to enrich their learning.

Student Leadership has encouraged a diverse range of successful organisations within the school.  This includes an Amnesty International Group, Eco-group and KEVA group all working to improve the lives of others.

Our Student Leadership aims to encourage students to be involved in the decision making process of the school.  Student Leadership Representatives are linked to each department and each Form Group to actively take part in school decisions.
