Welcome to Aireborough Children’s Services

Please click  below to view the Children’s Services Booklet.

We work in close partnership with the children’s centre and all the schools across Guiseley, Rawdon and Yeadon. Our aim is to provide early help for every child, young person and family in the area to access the activities, guidance, information and support that can enable them to achieve their full potential.

Our team of experienced, qualified professionals is available to offer help and support early in the life of problems, confidentially and effectively whenever young people or families need it. We work with infants, juniors and high schools and other support services. Primarily, we work closely with school Learning Mentors to give real support when children need it most.

If you would like to know more about the support we can offer, please speak to your school Learning Mentor or contact us using the contact details below:

NSPCC Helpline

The Department for Education has commissioned the NSPCC to establish a dedicated independent helpline for people who have experienced sexual abuse in educational setting.

The helpline went live on 1 April, and will provide both children and adults who have experienced sexual abuse in schools with support and advice, including onward action such as contacting the police if they wish to. The helpline will also provide support to parents and professionals. Anyone who gets in touch through this dedicated helpline will also be signposted to other relevant support services available, including Childline, which provides ongoing support and counselling to children and young people.

The dedicated and confidential NSPCC helpline – Report Abuse in Education can be reached on 0800 136 663 or by email at help@nspcc.org.uk.
