Did you know that there are around eleven different languages spoken in South Africa ?
Well, I certainly didn’t but that is something I soon found out on my recent study visit to our partner school, Meetsetshehela Secondary School , in South Africa.

Amazed by Africa !
In early May of this year, three members of staff at Benton Park were given the opportunity to undertake a study visit to our international partner school, Meetsetshehla Secondary School in Vaalwater , South Africa . It will come as no surprise that this opportunity was embraced by colleagues Sarah Taylor, Clare Soutar and Charlotte Dunne as a ‘trip of a lifetime!”

Attendance
Again, due to the efforts of students, parents and staff, especially Mrs Taylor (Attendance Officer), Benton Park’s attendance statistics are excellent. Hundreds of our pupils were eligible, through their 100% attendance record, to enter Education Leeds’ Every School Day Counts competition and will all receive their 100% attendance certificates.
