Charter Mark

In 1999 Benton Park became one of only two schools in Leeds to be granted a Charter Mark in recognition of its first class service quality to its stakeholders.

Holders of Charter Mark have to demonstrate that they place their users at the centre of all that they do and satisfy the Cabinet Office that they fulfil the following stringent and demanding criterion:

• Set High Standards

• Be open and provide full information

• Consult and Involve

• Encourage access and the promotion of choice

• Treat all fairly

• Put things right when they go wrong

• Use resources effectively

• Innovate and improve

• Work with other providers

• Provide user satisfaction

Benton Park has applied to renew its Charter Mark in 2002 in the knowledge that it will continue to provide an outstanding community service in the Rawdon and Yeadon districts of Leeds.
