Year 11 Internal Exams - 9th to 18th December French, Spanish and German orals will take place during 7th - 11th December, arrangements will be confirmed with your subject teacher.
If you have any queries regarding your exams then please speak to either your subject teacher or Mrs Barras in the Exams Office. General Instructions 1. Arrive in school at 8.30am and go straight to the correct room ready for your exam, all early morning exams will start at 8.45am. If your exam is either after break or lunch you must be in school 15 minutes beforehand waiting outside the correct room. 2. On arriving at the Sports Hall leave your coat & bag in the Changing Room and only take the required stationery into the exam. The Changing Rooms will be locked during all exams. MOBILE PHONES, MP3 players & iPods ARE STRICTLY BANNED IN THE EXAM ROOM and must be left in your bag or better still at home. 3. The Sports Hall will be set up with labels at the front of each row indicating the subject groups. You must sit within this grouping. 4. All exams will be in the Sports Hall unless stated opposite, it is up to you to check and make sure you are waiting outside the correct room. 5. NO TALKING is allowed in the Sports Hall or any exam room once you have entered. 6. Anyone caught WRITING OR DRAWING ON THE EXAM DESKS WILL BE SEVERELY DEALT WITH and expected to clean it and any other desks which need cleaning. 7. Wait for instructions before completing the front of question/answer books. 8. Do not start the exam until you are told to do so. 9. There will be clocks at the front of the exam rooms and start and end times on boards. 10. Raise your hand if you need instructions or advice. 11. If you feel unwell, raise your hand and attract the attention of the Invigilator. Visits to the toilet will only be allowed in extreme circumstances. 12. Sit quietly when you’ve finished. Do not disturb, distract, or communicate in any way with any other student. 13. Remain silent until all answer papers have been collected and you are out of the exam room. 14. The Dining Hall will be open from 10.30am for drinks and snacks should you have 2 exams within the same morning. Remember that normal lessons are going on around school for all other Year Groups, when you have finished your exam please leave school quietly. 15. If you are ill or miss an exam due to unforeseen circumstances you are expected to come into school on the first available exam catch-up session. 16. All students who have an exam clash between two subjects are listed opposite. If you are still unsure on what you should do go to Reception and ask to speak to Mrs Barras (Exams Officer). 17. If for any reason you are unable to come into school for an exam your parent should contact school before 8.30am. |
