The Rule Of Thirds

The rule of thirds is very simple to understand. Think of any image as if broken into 3 segments (see image). All images must be framed in this way if they are to be seen as properlly photographed. Bet you didn't know that didn't you?! It's very easy to do, just make sure before you take the shot, you use the view finder or screen to decide whether you could divide the into 3 equal segments. If you can, fantastic, if you can't, its not major problem, just re-adjust and shoot again.
