Extra Curricular Activities
The Design and Technology department is pleased to offer a range of extra curricular activities, catering for a variety of interests.
Jewellery Club starts at the end of September. It is open to Year 7 and 8 pupils. We start by designing out making some jewellery out of pewter, this can be cleaned up and look as good as silver! We then move onto some wooden jewellery either bracelets or brooches or anything else you can think of. Have a look at the pictures if you want to join in just see Miss Soutar.
The Young Engineers Club is part of the nationwide Young Engineers talent enterprise. Over the school year the club develops a series of small technology projects. These are then entered into national competitions. Projects include “Robot Wars”, “Flight” and “Hovercrafts”.
