Andalucia Spain '08
On Thursday we had a full day excursion to Granada to spend time in the city centre viewing its beautiful cathedral and universities. Afterwards we visited the renowned Alhambra palace and viewed its beautiful patios pools pavilions and splendid gardens. That evening we enjoyed having a disco at the hotel. On Friday morning we walked to the nearby beach and had a choice to play rounders or visit the shops. This was good because most people joined in. In the afternoon we had the chance to view some of the city’s main historical sights including Gibralfaro castle, the Alcazaba, Picasso’s birthplace, Paseo de la Farola Park , the remains of the roman theatre and also the city centre to visit the bull ring and cathedral. After a packed tea provided by the hotel we observed the Good Friday processions in Malaga. This was a unique opportunity to see this extremely cultural event and was very interesting as i have never seen anything like it before.

The Spanish trip in March 2008 was an amazing experience. We visited Andalucia which is in the south of Spain. Whilst we were in Spain we visited many places and towns. On our first full day, Wednesday, we visited Mijas, a beautiful andalucian village up in the mountains where we had free time to shop and view the scenery spreading out towards Fuengirola. Later on in the evening we went to a shopping centre and bowling alley on the outskirts of Malaga where we went bowling and after had the chance to go on a rodeo bull. This was a very good night. 
On our last day we went to Tivoli world, an adventure theme park set in lovely gardens with illuminated fountains and a variety of restaurants. Everybody had a very good time and enjoyed themselves a lot. Also whilst in Spain we had six hours of Spanish lessons which were very interesting and i learnt a lot. We are very grateful to the teachers that took us and hope that if you get the chance to go to Spain you will have as much of a good time as we did.
