Languages offered
- Year 7 – Split into Spanish & French.
- Year 8 – In addition to French or Spanish, set 1 & 2 also study German.
- Year 9 - As above.
- Year 10-11 – GCSE Spanish, French, German & Latin
- Sixth Form – A-level Spanish, German & French
General Information
- Latin is offered as an option in Year 10 following a taster in Year 9.
- Previously, Japanese, Irish and Italian have been offered as an after school club. Future clubs may be offered in various languages according to demand. More details upon request.
- We are happy to facilitate students who wish to sit exams in community, home and other languages not currently offered. For example, Benton Park pupils have sat exams in Chinese, Gujarati, Urdu, Portuguese and Italian.
- Highly successful European trips are organised on a yearly basis thus providing students the opportunity to immerse themselves both in the language and culture.
