Year 9 students have been studying the topic of Development. Why are some countries rich and why are some poor? There are a myriad of reasons for this gap in development. One of them is debt. Poor countries owe rich countries a lot of money and their debt increases through annual interest. One of the ways in which the development gap can be closed is to cancel this debt. The following exemplary work is from a number of year 9 students who have excelled in expressing their feelings regarding this debt. I hope you enjoy the work of these gifted students.
