YEAR 10 ENTERPRISE DAYS 7th, 8th, 9th July 2008
All Year 10 pupils took part in a day of enterprise activities. Pupils were encouraged to arrive in 'business dress' in order to look and feel the part. They worked with 6th Form group leaders in order to plan, develop and promote a business idea.
The day consisted of a variety of sessions including business planning, consumer rights, finance, marketing and culminated in each group presenting a highly amusing television commercial for their business.
The idea behind the day is for pupils to increase their enterprise awareness and capabilities and to practice essential skills such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and initiative in an exciting and fun environment. |
